COVID-19 Procedures

June 22 Update

Effective June 22, we will no longer require Latitude 42° Brewing Co. fully vaccinated guests to wear masks while on premises at either location. We strongly request those who are not vaccinated continue to wear a mask when not seated at your table.

Our staff will continue to take sanitizing and prevention actions in serving our guests both inside and outside.

Please join us as we do our best to ensure each of our guests and staff have an enjoyable and safe experience.

May 15 Update

For guests effective Saturday, May 15, we will request that those who are not vaccinated continue to wear a mask while visiting as frequently as possible, and strongly encourage those who are vaccinated to also continue to wear a mask while not seated at their table and dining at Latitude 42 Brewing Co..

We ask that our guests practice social distancing while inside our facilities and in our Hop Gardens. (6′)

In addition, we have strategically spaced hand sanitizer throughout our property, and we ask that you use it frequently while you enjoy your experience with us.

We will utilize this protocol with our guests on the honor system and will take their word for being vaccinated in hopes they would not dare put our team or our other guests in harm’s way. For anyone willing to put our staff and small business in jeopardy by lying about their vaccination status we ask that you please stay home. This is quite a serious issue facing our industry and we respectfully ask that you do not add anymore variables to the challenges we are already facing.

Latitude 42 Brewing Co. continues to strive to be the one of the safest dining experiences in town. We will adhere to MHHS guidelines, and we will do our best to ensure each and every one of our guests and staff has a safe and healthy visit.

December 7 Update

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has issued a new emergency order enacting a 12-day pause in an effort to curb rapidly rising COVID-19 infection rates.

• Bars and restaurants will be closed to indoor dining; outdoor seating and carryout will still be allowed.
• In compliance with the order, both Latitude 42 locations will remain open for patio dining and carryout only. Our full menu of food, brews, and cocktails is available. Go to https://latitude42brewingco.com/online-ordering/ to place your order. Curbside pickup is available.
• Patio seating at both Latitude 42 locations is OPEN – with tents and heaters for your comfort. Our servers continue to follow all safety precautions outlined in previous COVID updates below.
• Latitude 42 Kitchens & Kegs Catering also will continue operations following every possible safety measure. For the quickest response to a catering question, go to https://latitude42brewingco.com/parties-events/.

We know these restrictions are difficult, and they come at a time when many businesses can ill afford it, but we support these steps as a necessary process to help mitigate the spread of this virus.

November 2 Update

Per the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services order, we are updating our COVID policies to include:

• We are requiring the collection of information on each dine-in guest including: date of visit, customer name and customer phone number. One guest at each table may complete the form for all guests.
• Servers will ask guests to complete the tracing information at their table.
• Information will be held in confidentiality for 30 days, then archived.
• We cannot host private dining room parties with more than 20 guests.
• No more than 6 guests are allowed to sit at any table or communal rail seating. No moving or combining tables – even if guests are of the same family, they may be seated separately based on the number in the party.
• There will be no indoor waiting for seating. “Join Waitlist” on google will provide you with notifications of our available seating.
• Wear a mask until you are seated at your table. Take it off when you eat or drink.
• Social distancing is required when not seated at your table.

We understand this will be a learning process for everyone and urge you to be kind to your servers who are tasked with completing this process. Please ask to speak to a manager if you have any questions.

October 5 Update

For the safety and well-being of our staff and guests, we will continue to follow and enforce our current mask requirements and social distancing protocols. The policies we have in place, including but not limited to temperature checks for our staff and enhanced cleaning procedures, allow us to continue to offer one of the safest dining experiences in the area.

Policy

We’re open! We’re VERY excited to welcome you back to Latitude 42! To be sure we’re providing a safe dining experience for you, we’ve implemented the following precautions, including, but not limited to:

• We now offer carryout and online ordering as well as limited dine-in service.
• We will maintain seating capacity at 50% until further notice.
• We respectfully ask that you wear a mask when not seated at your table.
• Our staff wear gloves and masks at all times
• We NOW OFFER curbside pickup for carry-out orders.
• We respectfully ask that you wear a mask when not seated at your table.
• We currently cannot take reservations or host groups larger than 10.
• Seating is first-come, first-served.
• We perform mandatory health checks for all employees.
• We have increased sanitizing in high-traffic areas and restrooms, and sanitize tables and chairs every time a table is turned.
• We practice social distancing when seating guests.
• We’ve installed QR code icons our tables that link to our online menu (scan with your camera to activate).
• We use disposable/biodegradable containers for dining and carryout.
• Our beautiful outdoor spaces are open with limited seating (weather permitting).
• We currently cannot refills growlers; you CAN purchase new ones and have them filled in-house.

We respectfully ask for your patience and understanding as we adapt. This has been a very challenging few months for us all, and we are absolutely trying our best to make sure we provide you with the amazing experience you have come to expect from Latitude 42 Brewing Co.
